About the Role:We are looking for a Seasonal Front Desk Agent at
Ashland Hills Hotel plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming
and efficient environment for guests. This position is responsible
for managing the front desk operations, ensuring that all guests
receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out. The Front
Desk Agent will handle reservations, provide information about the
hotel and local attractions, and address any guest inquiries or
concerns promptly. By maintaining a high standard of
professionalism and hospitality, the Front Desk Agent contributes
significantly to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.
Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering a positive image of the
hotel and encouraging repeat business.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in
the hospitality industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with hotel management software.
- Knowledge of local attractions and events.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse
clientele.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth
check-in process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations,
using the hotel management system.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local
attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in
a timely and professional manner.
- Process check-out transactions and ensure accurate billing for
all guests.Skills:The required skills for this role include strong
communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for
interacting with guests and addressing their needs effectively.
Attention to detail is crucial when managing reservations and
processing transactions to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
Problem-solving skills are utilized daily to handle guest
complaints and inquiries, ensuring a positive resolution. Preferred
skills, such as familiarity with hotel management software, enhance
efficiency in managing bookings and guest information.
Additionally, knowledge of local attractions allows the Front Desk
Agent to provide valuable recommendations, enriching the guest
