Position Title: Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Manager Global Operations
Department: Operations
Status: Full Time / Non- Exempt
Location: Remote but required to be in Pacific Time zone.
Preference for Ashland, Oregon area
Position Summary
This Operations Coordinator position is responsible for supporting
company and primarily operations with strategic sourcing,
new/revised product and material development project management,
Quality Assurance document control, sales planning support and
efforts to increase sustainability and adhere to sustainability
legislation and regulations. This role will interface with our
Indonesian subsidiary, domestic and international suppliers, and
the BTF Sales, Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain teams. This
position reports to BTF's Global Operations Manager.
Core Functions
Source raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials
domestically and internationally to improve products and drive down
costs. This includes searching for suppliers, acquiring information
required to evaluate options, working with BTF internal teams to
evaluate appropriate options, preparing and presenting analysis to
compare options across key characteristics and negotiating final
agreements.
Coordinate efforts around projects to develop new products, revise
existing products, develop or revise new packaging, and develop
product presentation collateral. This will include extensive
collaboration with all BTF internal teams and project
management.
Support the Quality Assurance team with document control. This will
include filling out and submitting forms for quality issues,
certifications, etc and developing effective organizational systems
to keep all files current and easy to locate.
Support sales planning and analysis as needed by compiling and
synthesizing data, producing reports and providing input during the
sales planning process.
Spearhead company efforts to increase sustainability. This will
primarily relate to sourcing or developing more sustainable
packaging and managing company's requirements and efforts to adhere
to multiple states' EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility)
legislation and any other pending or new regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support business growth by stretching outside of primary
responsibilities as needed - i.e. Customer Service, Project
Management, Reporting, Audits, etc.
Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve the organization through
development and adoption of new strategies, processes, tools, and
responsibilities.
Commit to personal development and growth by actively engaging in
individual development initiatives and applying developmental
thinking within the context of the role.
Minimum Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Preferred 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Passion for working in a values-based, mission driven, high-growth

Process-oriented, organized and a proactive problem solver.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel required.
Collaborative self-starter with the ability to effectively manage
time while delivering results in a high-growth business
environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills bring positivity &
professionalism to all interactions.
Ability to work directly with international partners Monday and
Tuesday early evenings from 5pm - 6:30pm PT in the winter months
and 6pm - 7:30pm PT in the summer months. Days and times are
subject to change.
Experience working with international partners and import/export
requirements is a plus.
Experience with document control is a plus.
Project management experience is a plus.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and
phones. This role may be required to lift up to 35lbs on occasion
and will require a reasonable amount of force to lift, carry, push,
pull and move boxes and products.
