  • Job Details
  • General job duties include performing basic assessments, monitoring and recording vital signs, EPIC documentation, EKG machine operation, IV starts, phlebotomy draws, and patient care for ADLs as necessary.
  • Work as a team with the nurse to provide safe patient care.
  • The Emergency Department (ED) Technician provides direct patient care support under the supervision of medical and nursing staff, ensuring effective, compassionate, and efficient emergency services.
    • Job Requirements
    • 1 year of experience as EMT or ED Tech
    • Active CNA 2 or EMT license for the State of Oregon
    • BLS certification required
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Floating to other units/departments: Only ED and CDU
      • Bed size: 39 total (10 of those CDU)
      • Dress Code: Scrubs
