  • Job Details
  • Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of special technical procedures, performed with the CT scanner and MRI.
  • Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, physicians and co-workers.
  • Performs all duties of a CT and MRI Technologist.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians.
  • Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
  • Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
    • Job Requirements
    • Required: ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and/or MRI registries.
    • Licensed in the State of Oregon; and Has qualifications and experience determined to be adequate by Director of department and lead technologist to operate equipment and evaluate images obtained.
    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must pull call on rotational basis for 24 hour coverage in CT/MRI.
    • Medium to very heavy physical demand (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs must be able to work independently as well as with patients, hospital staff, and physicians.
      • Schedule Information
      • Varied shifts - facility will discuss in interview.
      • Call Rotation - travelers rotate call four weekdays one week, with the weekend off, and then off the next four weekdays and on the weekend.

        • ARRT (CT), BLS;START DATE: 12/16
        • HOUSING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH PETS - SPECIAL HOUSING FINDS PRIOR TO PLACEMENT
        • GE CT EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
