Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: 1 year of experience required unless specified otherwise License: License can be submitted as pending unless specified in job title Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP required Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system Job Description: - This role is for a Labor and Delivery RN. - Candidates will not float between units. - On-call is required for low census periods. - Working every other weekend is mandatory. - Block schedules are not required. - Candidates must adhere to AWHONN expected ratios. - Scrub color is any color for All RN/Allied. Scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units; Case Managers are to wear business casual. - COVID-19 vaccine is not required. Flu vaccine requirement is unknown. - The role involves completing a 40-hour orientation and modules averaging 16 hours pre-start, with any over 20 hours requiring manager approval. - Return staff policy requires a 3-month gap between permanent and travel assignments. - Candidates are expected to float between all facilities within a given state as required. Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment. - Communication devices required for assignment duties will be provided, or reimbursement is available for work-related cell phone use, up to a specified maximum monthly amount. - Must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
