Job Description:
Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor
Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Ashland,
Oregon.Job Description & Requirements
Facility note -
Will be asked to float as needed
OR RN license required for starting; Will request temp license if
needed
36-hours guaranteed.
48-hour guarantee can be requested
Description -
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
RN L&D, post partum, nursery in small community hospital
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized
charting, medication systems, etc.)
EMR. Bed Side Medication Verification, Electronic Fetal Monitoring,
waterbirths
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Min 2 years of experience in L&D. Must be able to be
Independent. May be staffed alone if census is low.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
RN, BLS, NRP, OR License
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone?
Is call required? If so, how often? Are 12 hour shifts, Our minimal
staffing is 2 RN's at all times, even when low census., and NO call
required
Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which
units/departments?)
May be floated to Med Surg or PACU if qualified
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
8 beds; 6 LDRPs, Level 1 Nursery
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
3:1 Couplets; 2:1 early labor; 1:1 active labor
