Director, Leadership Development, plays a critical role in
designing, implementing, and delivering leadership development
programs that foster the growth and effectiveness of SCA Health's
leaders and teammates. By identifying development opportunities and
creating tailored learning strategies, this position ensures that
leadership programs are aligned with the company's strategic goals,
organizational priorities, and brand pillars. This role directly
contributes to the development of a high-performance culture,
ensuring SCA Health's leaders are equipped to meet the challenges
of today's dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate programs and initiatives to build an
inclusive, high-performing culture at SCA Health through customized
content and engagement.
- Support the design and delivery of new leadership development
programs to cultivate emerging leaders at SCA.
- Collaborate with the Director to build and enhance internal and
external coaching programs that foster leadership growth and
development.
- Consult on leadership assessments (e.g., 360-degree feedback,
Hogan assessments) to identify development opportunities for
leaders.
- Partner with the L&D team, business leaders, and HRBP to
assess leadership development needs and develop effective
solutions.
- Measure the effectiveness of leadership development programs by
seeking regular feedback from learners and stakeholders, using
insights to continuously improve program content and delivery.
- Stay current with trends in learning and leadership development
through ongoing professional growth and certifications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate course
design and content, ensuring it aligns with SCA's leadership needs
and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The knowledge,
skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a
bachelor's degree (4+ years) in leadership development, talent
management, or organizational development, preferably in a complex
and fast-paced environment.
- IDI certification required, or willing to obtain
- Enneagram, Working Genius and coaching certification
desirable
- 5+ Years of experience working in learning and leadership
development
- Passion for learning and for developing people to reach their
potential
- Excellent facilitation, coaching and presentation skills
- Experience advising and coaching leaders
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience working with Learning technologies/Learning
Management Systems
- Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and
pro-actively in a fast pace, deadline orientated, dynamic and
virtual environment
- Proven ability to work in a cross-organization team
environment, collaborating on key deliverables specifically in
support of training
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 30%) to support business
growth and operations
