website! About the Position We are looking for a Billing Specialist
II to join our team at our Administrative Office in Medford,
Oregon. The Billing Specialist II will provide and support with
clerical and administrative tasks related to billing and other
departmental needs, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. They
will maintain accurate and up-to-date client records to facilitate
efficient claims processing, and ensure all necessary documentation
are available for claims submission. They will also have strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities and be proficient in
ICD-10, CPT coding, and prior authorization processes. The Billing
Specialist II will submit and track service authorizations and
reauthorizations for clients in residential, crisis, supportive
housing and outpatient programs. They will process claims in strict
accordance with program requirements, payer guidelines, and
organizational policies to ensure successful reimbursement. The
Billing Specialist II will proactively monitor, investigate, and
resolve any billing discrepancies or claim submission issues,
collaborating with clients, payers, and relevant departments to
ensure timely resolution. ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying
employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full Time,
Day) What You'll Make$24.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or
Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired). What You'll
NeedMUST have a high school diploma OR GEDMUST have TWO (2) YEARS'
experience in medical billing insurance coordination and Accounts
Receivable management, with a strong preference for experience in
behavioral health billing Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
certification is preferred. Successful applicants must have the
ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. This position
requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands
and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb
stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other
physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and
